Process & Continuous Improvement Manager Tempo Inteiro

Heading Moz is searching for a P&CI Manager for a leading client in the FMCG sector to be based in Maputo.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the P&CI Manager is responsible for running the P&CI Function and is a trusted partner for Local Management and Functions in achieving business objectives, driving and implementing improvements in the organization’s processes and strengthening the internal control environment. The P&CI Manager is the custodian of the Company Internal Control Framework and the Company Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).

Core activities of the P&CI Manager are:

• Controls Monitoring;
• Process & Control Management; and
• Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). These activities are driving the continuous improvement, monitoring/testing, design and implementation of processes and controls.

Additional areas of responsibility include:

• Risk Management;
• Compliance;
• Fraud Managemen;t and
• Assurance.

The P&CI Manager coordinates the Lines of Controls activities (including Global Audit and External Audit).

Requirements:

• University Degree, Economics, Finance or Business Administration;
• Finance, Accounting, Internal audit and IT background;
• Working knowledge and understanding of process risk management, internal control, process management, fraud management & compliance;
• Experience in the area of internal control, internal/ external audit or process management and improvement;
• Experience in ERP implementation;
• Experience in organizing and leading cross-functional teams of individuals, assessing process and information flows, performing cost/benefit analyses, tracking results, developing recommendations and implementing changes that benefit business performance;
• Strong quantitative, statistical and computer skills, with emphasis on the ability to perform sophisticated analysis with spreadsheet and/or database applications;
• Excellent language skills in English and Portuguese.
