Production Methods Engineering Tempo Inteiro

The service holder assists, within the Field Operation (FO) team, the Sr Production Methods Engineer for all the activities related to production engineering, and shall ensure that all engineering and development works related to production engineering are developed in such a manner that all future operations will be performed in a safe, environment friendly and cost effective manner and that production installations will be operable, maintainable and reliable.

• To control that production engineering inputs in the FPSO’s design are duly taken into account;
• To liaise actively with the FPSO Operation Leader and Subsea Operation Leader (Field Operation Team) as well as with other Project Work packages Engineers to ensure that operability requirements are effectively accounted for;
• To analyse FPSO performances and study ameliorations in Safety, Production Efficiency and Operating Costs;
• To participate in the review of the engineering documentation developed by Contractor(s), checking their suitability for operation and maintenance and verifying that they comply with process / production availability targets;
• The Service holder will participate in the review of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up procedures for the FPSO’s, in liaison with the FPSO Commissioning Leader and the Field Operation Commissioning & Hand-Over Coordinator;
• The Service holder will also actively participate in the review of all Operating Procedures and Manuals and in the review of the organisation and means for Operations and their timely preparation and implementation (recruitment, training…).

Activities

1. To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE and to implement
   HSSE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility;
2. To be informed of Project specifications, international norms and standards, for application to the Project;
3. To take knowledge of inputs and parameters for the design of facilities with regards to
   production engineering;
4. To ensure that the Metering strategy and the Global Metering reconciliation method is
   consistent with Well Performance and EXP/PRD/ACO requirements;
5. To define and deliver on schedule Production Data Management System (PDMS)
   with all relevant supporting procedures, instructions, training modules, in order to secure
   complete production reporting before start-up;
6. To participate in the review of the detailed engineering deliverables developed by
   Contractors (all packages) with regards to the production engineering and participate, as
   requested, in the review of queries / derogation requests;
7. To participate in the technical definition and management of all interfaces related to
   production engineering, until close-out of defined interfaces;
8. To participate, as requested, to project reviews as requested referential (HAZOP, HAZID, SPOT, PTR…);
9. To participate in the review of organisation and means for Operations and their implementation (recruitment, training…);
10. To participate in the review of preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up (Start-up Sequences, Operating Procedures and Manuals, Standing Instructions, Support
    needs), ensuring facilities production requirements and targets are complied with;
11. To participate in the overall commissioning and start-up activities of the whole facilities, according to planning and with due consideration of all constraints and requirement;
12. To participate in the final hand-over activities in liaison with the Project Commissioning team and the Start-up team, provide assistance to Site as necessary and follow the installation and the set-up of production data management system and the virtual metering;
13. To participate in the definition of well production target and well potential, and in the validation of Production figures and overall balance, and relevant lifting/trading operations.

Required qualifications and background

• Professional Experience (years): 6 including site position;
• Experience in similar position (years): 2;
• Level / Diploma: Experienced technician or engineer in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent);
• Languages: English mandatory;
• Training / Habilitation / Certification: Bosiet
