Maintenance Supervisor

Heading Moz is recruiting for its client a Maintenance Supervisor (M/F) to be based in Maputo.

Main Responsibilities:

• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues;
• Install appliances and equipment;
• Conduct maintenance tasks;
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems;
• Collaborate with works and other professionals during renovations inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance work on roads and fence;
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and allocate work;
• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance workers;
• Hire and supervise tradesman during installations, repairs or maintenance (etectricians, plumbers,etc);
• Inspect and maintain building systems;
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance;
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment;
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience using hand and electrical tools;
• Technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as electrical, plumbing, etc;
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings;
• Knowledge of health ad safety practices and regulations;
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
