We are currently recruiting for a Well Construction Manager for Eni Angola to Organize and control the operations of building wells, ensuring the human and technical means for the efficient and safe development of the operations, in accordance with the regulations and policies of the company.
The Key Responsibilities are
- Participates in the preparation of the budget necessary for the proper development of his area of responsibility, submitting it for approval;
- Organizes and controls the implementation of the approved budget;
- Sets and monitors the operational phase attributed to construction of the well, as regards the acquisition of data in the field of work, both as geophysical, geological, optimising the technical quality and cost as well as the fulfilment of established programming superiorly;
- Organizes and controls the interpretation phase of the project, as set out in the schedule and the budget; Organizes and controls the execution of the activities, including construction;
- Ensures the supervision of work teams, in order to fulfil its objectives and long-term;
- Support in technical and economic evaluations of activities of his area;
- Supports his immediate superior in the preparation of reports, gathering the data needed;
- Reports on the functioning and development of the area, in regard to its evolution;
- Prepares reports with recommendations for the technical and economic feasibility;
- Participates in meetings with service providers/contractors who work for ENI to discuss project specifications;
- Collaborates with other areas, ensuring a cost-effective integrated system;
- Carry out and keep the joints with experts from departments of the headquarters for the necessary technical support and technological update;
- Make sure that all accidents and/or incidents are investigated and studied, indicating what measures and/or actions that must be taken.
Employment Contract
- Temporary; Residential Contract.
Skills
- Good knowledge of Portuguese;
- Fluent English;
- Computer knowledge from user’s point of view.
Requirements
- Education at graduate level or higher in the area of Geology or Engineering;
- Work experience in engineering and construction projects in the Gas and Oil Industry at onshore and offshore facilities.
- Good knowledge of Portuguese;
- Fluent English.
