We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Principal Investigator in Maputo, Mozambique for an anticipated CDC-funded award. The project will support scale-up of priority health information systems that optimally support programmatic activities, population-level monitoring of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and evidence-based decision-making to achieve sustainable epidemic control. The goal is to support the development, interoperability, and maintenance of information systems used to monitor PEPFAR and the National HIV program’s performance. The project will also provide TA to improve capacity for data management, use, and dissemination at the national level.
The Principal Investigator will lead the project and will be responsible for achieving the project’s vision and strategy, directing the project technical team, and managing critical relationships with partners and key stakeholders. The PI will have overall programmatic and fiscal responsibility for the project, including achieving project results on-schedule and within budget constraints, effectively communicating accomplishments, and ensuring compliance with US government and FHI 360 regulations. The PI serves as the project’s principal point of contact for funder, government, and implementing partners.
The position will be based in Maputo and will report to the FHI 360 Mozambique Country Director. Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project and the selection of the final applicant is subject to CDC approval.
