Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Data&AI technical sales has the responsibility of working closely with IBM partner ecosystem in Central Africa helping the partners in building their skills around IBM Data & AI portfolio.
- He/She will also act as the partner technical advocate within IBM and seek help and support required the partner to become successful, expectation from the candidate will be around the below points:
- Complete understanding of IBM Data & AI strategy and offering;
- Deep understanding for Data & AI focus areas based on the assigned territory/countries;
- Strong communications skills;
- Performs as the central point to pull together the elements of a complete partner successful operation;
- Clearly articulates IBM strategy and offerings, advises partners on the latest industry trends and technology solutions, and recommends IBM products, services and solutions that solve the business problem;
- Reaches to IBM MEA and WW team for support required to secure partner success;
- Understands the competitive landscape within his territory and build the right competitive attack/winback plays leveraging the partner ecosystem.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Preferable 10+ years of experience in similar role;
- University degree for Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
