Senior Mine Geologist

Description

Our client, with gold mining operations in Zimbabwe, is looking for an experienced mine geologist to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Surface mapping.
• Open pit grade control and grade reconciliation.
• QAQC data analysis.
• Orebody modeling.
• Estimation and evaluation of resources.
• Setting up Standard Operating Procedures.
• Management, mentoring and training of subordinates.
• Planning and executing diamond drilling programmes.
• Core logging and sampling.
• Chanel samplings.
• Ensure Safety, Health and Environmental management.

Requirements

• Geology Degree.
• Must have SURPAC Skills.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Open Pit Gold Mines.
• Must have worked with RC drill rigs.
