Lathe Operator (Mechanical & Electrical)

Duties

• Meet production standards set for parts being machined.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure all documentation, tooling, and gauging is present before beginning work.
• Ensure all information follows correct revisions and that measuring equipment has current calibration.
• Detect and report faulty machine operation, defective material, equipment and other unusual conditions to supervisor and manufacturing support.
• Perform autonomous maintenance such as topping of fluids as required.

Requirements

• National Diploma/Technical Training in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or relevant.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must be physically fit.
• Comprehend, retain, and follow oral and written instructions.
