Position Summary

Purpose/Scope

• Oversee facility preparation for shutdown and actively support the completion of the operations. Provide assistance with completing of post-ShutDown (SD) activities (remove scaffold, demo, painting, insulation, cleanup, etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor facility foreman, operations specialist, and operators in preparation for the SD event.
• Support Ops in delivering Shutdown, Clean-up, and Startup (SCS) plan.
• Maintain and update SCS milestone dates and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator) for assigned SD events.
• Participate in the review and prioritization of SD Work List.
• Oversee facility preparation (equipment isolation) for SD event.
• Facilitate look back sessions and capture lessons learned. Operations SME to resolve any issues during execution.
• Shut down planning & preparation – Actively support development of operations worklist, develop SCS plan (including development of isolation plan, help develop clean up and purge, leak test and O2 free equipment procedures), and support operations to follow the SCS plan.
• Integrate input from MCP and operations into SCS plan and ensure deliverables are aligned.
• Shutdown (SD) pre-Execution – Assign resources required during execution (Area Control, Permit Coordinator, PSSR coordinator).
• Provide oversight and support tag hanging and LOTO activities on the facility.
• Shutdown and Startup Execution – Partner with Operations to ensure a safe shut-in e.g depressurizing and cleaning of equipment in-scope for the SD event; and “turn-over” individual equipment/process segment to SD site-team (PM, FEC, other).
• Actively supports the completion of Operations action items. Provide support and oversight to complete MOCs, Oversite of Operation Readiness Checks (PSSR’s) after work is completed, assist with completing of post-SD activities (remove scaffold, demo, painting, insulation, cleanup, etc.).
• Participate in Lessons Learned and Lookback sessions.

• Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment. Other.
• Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
• Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervision responsibilities:

• Superintendent.
• Project Coordinator.
• Administrative.

Reporting Relationship

• Direct Reporting to Superintendent and Project Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Any discipline related degree or experience equivalent.
• Fluent English.
• Fluent Portuguese.

N.B: All personnel must hold a grade 12 certification with high mathematics standards and must be fluent in English and Portuguese.

Experience Required

• Mnium of 1 Year Offshore experience with facility shutdown, equipment isolations and start up, planning and scheduling, communication skills.
• 10+ years of work experience in Oil & Gas industry.
