Position Summary

Purpose

• Create and maintain a master schedule that supports customer requirements for Angola.  Manage and maintain Replenishment reports for Angola.

Duties & Responsibilities

Functions

Essential

• Manage the scheduling of material flow to meet Operational schedules and customer requirements.
• Create and maintain a master schedule that supports business forecast, including establishing lead times.
• External procurement co-ordination/execution, stocking and replenishment strategies for optimisation in support of the Angola business unit.
• Responsible for monthly status reporting of the BU’s demand fulfilment against pre-set monthly targets.
• Regular liaison with customers, suppliers and in-country SCM team on SCM related issues with external bearings.
• Assisting SCM Management with working with in-country SCM team and External Logistics to ensure that demand fulfilment for the Angola business unit is meeting or exceeding pre-set monthly targets.
• Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution.
• Coordinate with Angola Purchasing and update requirements for purchased good and materials.
• Evaluates and recommends actions to improve on time delivery performance to the customer.
• Assist in identifying Item ID’s and/or establish new item ID’s when necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no supervisory responsibilties.

Qualifications

Required

• Qualification in Supply Chain/ Business discipline.
• The individual must have experience in ERP or MRP systems.
• Direct experience with a Supply and Demand realm including forecasts, receipt and deliver processes, inventory reports, accuracy validation procedures, cycle counts and audit procedures is required.

Desired

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Professional Certification from CIPS and/or IOSM is desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Office and PeopleSoft ERP System.
• Ability to work with cross-cultural organizations and groups.

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place.
• Work surface is stable (flat).
