Supports managing the teams that will maintain the radio systems on board (Marine, Tetra, GDMSS, etc) and TLC infrastructure.
Ensure proper provision of telecommunications (Voice, Video and Data) to the offshore facility with the support of HQ team.
Checks continuously the availability of the link between offshore facility and remote sites (Milan, Maputo and Pemba).
Ensures, always, proper operation of telecommunications equipment.
Supervises maintenance of equipment and telecommunications infrastructure.
Support his/her direct superior in controlling that the services (VSAT) provided by the providers are acceptable and that the level of quality is in line with Company requirements.
Maintains site inventory of critical telecommunications and IT equipment.
With the support of Eni HQ team monitors and analyzes system performance, such as network traffic, security, and capacity.
Verifies and proposes, jointly with CYSE unit, controls to provide security to TLC and NT infrastructure.
Documents user support activities, such as system problems, corrective actions, resolution status, and completed equipment installations.
Under the supervision of his/her direct responsible works with maintenance staff to install, remove, or relocate user connectivity equipment and devices.
Supports the assessing FLNG needs to improve on-board telecommunications systems.
Requirements
Degree in IT, Telecommunication or similar areas.
At least 3 years of experience in same or similar role.
CCNA (Routing and switching) Cisco certifications is a plus.
Knowledge of VSAT and Wireless technologies, architecture and operation.
Knowledge in installation, configuration and operation of Cisco equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, AP, etc.).
Knowledge of Telecoms and Network architectures.
Knowledge of RF Technologies and related equipment.
Knowledge of radio systems (Marine, Tetra Systems, etc).
Knowledge of security software and hardware requirements for telecommunications lines.
Knowledge of LAN and WAN, routing protocol, security rules, structured cabling, network equipment (routers and switches), bandwidth control, verification of the correct implementation of QoS, Firewall, VPN, etc.
