CAM Lab Technician

Expro Group are currently recruiting for a CAM Lab Technician to join the Tubular Running Services team based in Luanda.

Overall Purpose of the Job

• Work under general supervision carrying out work in the CAM Laboratory ensure operations are conducted safely, as per standard operating procedures, QHSE Procedures and in line with fiscal guidelines.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Responsible for CAM equipment maintenance team.
• Measuring load cells, turns counter, cables, among other components.
• Perform Software Update.
• Perform dimensional inspection with previously stipulated and informed templates.
• Issuing computer certifications.
• Report all read failures and / or equipment to the Operations Manager.
• Keep job files and stored CAM operations.
• Ensure that all CAM / Computers and electrical equipment are kept ready for use in operations.
• Ensure equipment is organized and stored so that it is available when necessary.
• Ensure that equipment testing complies with Frank’s Quality checklist and procedures before shipping to the Customer Platform.
• Ensure that the CAM work area is clean and organized.
• Issue parts requisition for equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot enterprise applications, software, and hardware failures.
• Control information and communication systems of the company, such as telephone, e-mails, servers.
• Assisting system users, identifying internal needs and installing devices as needed.
• To attend small requests related to the infrastructure of the information systems.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Technical Qualification in engineering or relevant field.
• Must have at least 1 years of experience in CAM operation and maintenance.
• Must have previous experience in Computer Maintenance; Must have solid knowledge in Informatica, hardware, software and networks.
