Heading is recruiting for its client, an Oil and Gas company, an Architectural Designer (M/F) to be based in Maputo.
Main Activities
- Manage all aspects related to design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs.
- Gathering the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts.
- Using CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and client approval.
- Providing management with estimates on cost, time, machinery, construction, and other specifications.
- Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded, maintained, and updated whenever a change occur.
- Auxiliary on Office technical management.
- Develop and edit layouts for infrastructure, furniture, decoration, etc.
- Prepare sketches and drawings to support technological solutions to resolve issues related to the offices.
- Develop technical proposals with the best solutions for decoration, maintenance, alterations.
- Preparation of office allocation layouts.
- Plan and monitor Assembly of furniture, decoration of common spaces (meeting rooms, offices, corridors, pantries, and bathroom, etc.).
Context and Environment
- Client’s expectations management.
- Manage work delays caused by 3rd party contractors.
- Know construction materials market.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- A portfolio of completed designs.
- Project management is a plus.
