Coordinator of Generation of Economic Opportunities

PRI is hiring a Coordinator of Generation of Economic Opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategy for the work in the area of generation of economic opportunities of the company in Cabo Delgado.
• Identify and develop channels for new programs and projects to generate employment opportunities.
• Prepare new project proposals.
• Manage relations with funding organizations.
• Coordinate, prepare and manage budgets for all projects.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience working in the private sector or in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in capacity building, access to finance and marketing.
• A minimum of B.Sc/BA in agriculture, economics, sociology, DRM, social studies, agribusiness or value chain or related fields. M.SC/MA in similar fields is desired.
• Extensive experience working with start-ups/SMEs and in-depth knowledge of good entrepreneurship support practices included, but not limited to, capacity building, coaching and mentoring between the private sector and/or the development sector.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and program design, preferably with experience in donor-funded programs.
