To provide transportation support to Surveillance Officer in the province to drive WHO Official vehicles and ensures that vehicles are kept in good and working conditions.

The daily work will involve drive staff members in the field and official missions as well as during vaccination campaigns.

The incumbent works under the supervision of the Surveillance Officer in the province and the general supervision of the Operations Officer. The Surveillance Officer identifies trips/assignments. Incumbent has some flexibility for planning and scheduling routes. Manuals available for use are Traffic instructions/street plans; WR/Operations Officer directives/instructions; and Vehicles maintenance manual.

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at USD 22,653.00 payable in local currency converted at the United Nations exchange rate at the time of payment and 30 days of annual leave.
