AB/ Rigger L3

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AB Rigger to join our offshore team operating in Angola. The ideal candidate must hold a valid OPITO Level 3 certification, demonstrating competency in rigging operations. As an AB Rigger, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient execution of lifting and rigging activities on board our vessel.

Responsibilities

• Execute rigging and lifting operations as per project requirements and safety guidelines.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the offshore team to coordinate rigging activities and ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in the assembly and dismantling of rigging systems as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• OPITO Level 3 certification in rigging.
• AB certification.
• Previous experience as an AB Rigger in offshore environments.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Physically fit and capable of working in challenging offshore conditions for extended periods.
• Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations at all times.
