Construction Engineer

The Ponticelli is seeking a Construction Engineer.

Position Summary

Ponticelli Frères, an industrial group with an international presence serving companies in the oil and gas sector, is looking for a Construction Engineer in Angola, his duties will be as follow :

• Reporting to Project Manager & Head of Projects.
• Respect and demonstrate commitment to QHSE requirements of PONTICELLI and corresponding Client(s).
• Review request for fabrication and procurement of raw material/ equipment/ consumable against client’s requirements.
• Cost estimation for construction works to be done (to the limited value and responsibility).
• Cost estimation for procurement services (to the limited value and responsibility).
• Preparation of proposals for construction and procurement services.
• Follow-up of construction and procurement services and coordination with organizational hierarchy
• Support site activities in terms of ensuring sufficient manpower, equipment, tools, consumables as support to Project Manager.
• Supporting Project Manager in reporting of project performance.
• Preparation of invoicing files, and pre-invoicing with clients.
• Working Conditions: Onshore (office based), with occasional visits to site.

Profile Wanted

• Completed engineering studies (mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial, or equivalent).
• Completed technical higher education with minimum of 5 years experience in management positions is an acceptable alternative.
• Knowledge of MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advance Excel knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
• Min. 2 years of experience in construction companies.
• Advance English skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Proactive attitude.
• Solid anticipation and priority management skills.
