Area Sales Manager

The Shalina Healthcare is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Saurimo, Pharma).

What you become a part of

The incumbent will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting the company’s pharmaceutical products. This position involves managing a team, implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with marketing initiatives for our Saurimo region within the Pharma division.

What to expect

• Achieve business targets by increasing sales of the company’s products.
• Set and monitor sales targets for the team, motivating them to reach their goals.
• Develop and implement market and business strategies in coordination with the Product Management team
• Train, guide, and coach Business Executives to enhance their performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor the team’s progress and conduct sales analysis.
• Identify and provide feedback on both the company’s and competitors’ products to the Product Management team.
• Participate in sales and marketing strategy development meetings.
• Conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME), seminars, and group meetings with healthcare practitioners (HCPs).
• Collaborate with the marketing team to refine promotional tactics and customer engagement strategies.

Essential education, experience & skills

• A Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical/life sciences is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including strategy and tactics for promoting products.
• Required skills: Sales Management, HCP Promotions, Team Management, Sales Analysis, Competition Tracking, and Customer Focus.
• Proficiency in Portuguese (Read, Write, Speak).
