Logistics Coordinator

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out logistics activities as required
• HSEQ matters related to own work.

Duties

• Ensure stores of spare parts and consumables are handled in compliance with company spare parts policy and procedures;
• Ensures manufacturer data books, certificates, warranties and records submitted are complete;
• Expedite and track all executed Purchase Orders and Contracts to ensure goods, equipment, materials and spare parts are delivered in a timely manner;
• Follow up and record confirmation of receipt of goods from the offshore units;
• Co-ordinate all import-export activities with the designated company logistic agent(s) to ensure seamless flow of function;
• Liaise with designated company logistic agent(s) to ensure that all goods consigned for in country and offshore are cleared and delivered a timely manner;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements as it relates to all company consigned goods, equipment, materials and spares;
• Liaise with vendors and the accounts department to rectify invoice challenges and take corrective actions to ensure the prompt payment of invoices;
• Take initiative and responsibility for improvements/changes as relevant for the department, subject to line manager approval;
• Keep up to date on any client specific requirement which may be relevant to purchases and logistics arrangements;
• Keep up to date on relevant country specific requirements related to purchases and logistics arrangements;
• Ensure Procedures are up to date with current practices;
• Advice Country Manager, and/or Head of Procurement – Operations of all matters that he/she has reason to believe should be brought to his/her attention;
• Adhere to Yinson Productions Code of Business Ethics, YMW-0013 YHB;
• Adhere to Yinson Productions Anti Bribery AC Policy, YMS-0015 YHB.

HSE Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a high degree of awareness;
• Lead by doing; setting an example for others;
• Observe and report any unsafe activities, conditions, or situations. If you observe anything unsafe use the ‘Stop Work’ Policy.

Qualifications/ Skills

• 3 years’ work experience;
• Effective to fluent English, verbal and writing;
• Previous experience in a similar function;
• Knowledge of SAP, IFS or similar ERP Systems.

Personal Qualities

• Organized, responsible and punctual;
• Good at multi-tasking and working under pressure;
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables;
• Flexibility with workdays and some travel can be expected.
