Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant handling of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The role includes managing inventory accuracy, leading the warehouse team, optimising space and processes, and ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and Good Distribution Practices (GDP). This position is key to Shalina HealthCare Angola’s reliable distribution network and commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), internal SOPs, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised, and secure warehouse environment.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy and product availability.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits.
• Investigate and resolve stock variances promptly.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors, clerks, and loaders.
• Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to work schedules and KPIs.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Logistics Coordination

• Liaise with procurement, sales, and distribution teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Supervise inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination with transporters and accurate documentation.
• Ensure proper handling and dispatch of temperature-sensitive and controlled pharmaceutical products.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure full compliance with Angolan regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, inspections, and stock movements.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports to senior management as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse management , preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
• Experience with warehouse software systems is necessary. Knowledge of Business Center Software is an advantage.
• Proven track record in inventory control and team management.
• Advanced English level is mandatory. Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written) is also required.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical storage requirements and Angolan regulatory standards.
