Responsible for planning and scheduling the materials required for the product line to execute the business. Works to translate the sales demand into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

As a Material Planning and Scheduling Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing the planning and delivery processes.
• Ensuring planning and delivery processes are being implemented correctly and aligned to the Center Of Excellence governance.
• Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plan into physical orders.
• Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 month) and global forecasts.
• Being Accountable for prioritizing the orders to meet the business goals.
• Being responsible for executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants.
• Providing overall planning and delivery guidance for orders.
• Being responsible for routing orders to the various plants.
• Managing and processes order exceptions.
• Managing communication between the Product Line/ Sales/Service Delivery with respect to order dates
• Planning deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitments.
• Working with the region Sales and Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins).
• Being responsible to ensure orders are appropriately maintained in SAP (aged orders, etc).
• Managing the materials planning and delivery team including employee training, development and career progression.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Have at least 7 years’ experience.
• Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management.
• Have deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.
• Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Being APICS Certified.
• Have people leader experience (direct, matrix or through influence) with demonstrated Leader of Choice capabilities (Drive Culture, Inspire People, Achieve Results, Growth Mindset).
