The Saipem is seeking a Telecom Specialist.

Purpose of the position

As Telecom Specialist, you will Ensure safe commissioning, start-up, and maintenance execution on Telecommunication Systems, in full compliance with: HSE rules; Legislative regulations; International standards. Execute the activities in conformance with prescribed routed time in order to meet department objectives. Follow instructions and advice from hierarchy with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviors.

• Plant telephone systems (IP and analog).
• VHF/UHF radios and base stations.
• Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) systems.
• Microwave and fiber optic communication links.
• Data network infrastructure (LAN/WAN switches, routers, firewalls).
• CCTV surveillance systems and video recording equipment.
• Satellite communication systems.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Diploma or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering discipline. Certification in telecom systems (e.g., Cisco CCNA, FOA Fiber Optics, Motorola/Hytera radio systems) is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 5 year’s experience in telecom maintenance in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Languages: Portuguese and Professional English.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of IEC 61511, ISA standards, and cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems.
• IT Skills: Microsoft tools.
