The KBR is seeking an Electrical Superintendent.
KBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa.
KBR is looking for an Electrical Superintendent to be responsible for the daily operations for site development on the Sonangol project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. This role will supervise and provide oversight of the daily project teams by providing input to identify key success factors, daily efforts of the technical and administrative, while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Early site electrical establishment and site improvement.
- Subcontractor oversight, shop drawing review and processing.
- Documentation of contract changes.
- Daily communication with owners, architects, engineer, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor EPC contractors’ electrical installation works.
- All required owner and in-house reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- 5 + years of progressive experience in heavy civil constructions.
- Must have experience working in field construction environment.
