The Saipem is seeking is Mechanical Technician.

Purpose of the position

As Mechanical Technician, execute safe maintenance of Mechanical Rotating Equipment and Machinery, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std. Execute the activities in conformance with prescribed routed time in order to meet department objectives. Follow instructions and advises from hierarchy with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviors.

How can you support us? Here below some responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance operations in strict compliance with company and client HSE rules.
• Identify and diagnose breakdowns or anomalies in equipment, systems, devices, and packages.
• Replace or repair defective elements, instruments, or components.
• Monitor machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation, including pumps, compressors, motors, diesel engines, gas turbines, valves, and PSVs.
• Assist and monitor vendor and contractor services on-site.
• Maintain workshop and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial plants, preferably in oil & gas, NGC, or process industries.
• Languages: Portuguese and Professional English.
• Technical Skills: Mechanical engineering fundamentals, expertise in machinery and proficiency in predictive maintenance techniques.
• IT Skills: Microsoft tools.
