Surveyor/Auditor Tempo Inteiro

The Luanda Station consists of Maritime activities (Fleet in Service operation involving sailing vessels and MOUiO) and Oil and Gas (VMC/CMC) activities.

The present team consist of 3 surveyors (2 Maritime; Station manager inclusive) and (1 Oil and Gas) and activity level in the station is on the increase.

Coverage area includes major ports in Angola (Soyo, Cabinda, Port Amboim, Lobito) and offshore Angola.

As a Surveyor/ Auditor in the Luanda Station you will be a member of a qualified team of surveyors/auditors. Luanda station serves as a platform for further development of a surveying/auditing career with the offshore activities attracting drill ships, FPSO’s and OSV’s.

Tasks May Include: (Essential roles, responsibilities and activities a candidate may expect)

• Surveys and audits for vessels operating in or calling in Angola Ports
• Voyage surveys

Requirements: (Mandatory qualifications for this position)

• Education: Naval Architect, Marine Engineer, experienced Chief Engineer
• Years of related experience: >5 years
• Technical competencies: DNV or GL qualifications as class & statutory surveyor (FiS and MOUiO) and ISM, ISPS & MLC auditor.
• Behavioral competencies: Team player but able to work independently on surveys & audits.
• Travel requirement: Frequent domestic and occasional international travel expected
• Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job (standing, lifting, climbing, other): Climbing pilot ladders & tanks entries, crew boat launches, voyage surveys.
• Language: English and Portuguese speaking / writing proficiency
