The Aker Solutions’ Subsea team based in Luanda, is an innovative, dynamic and highly competent team that provides advanced subsea systems and services for use in water depths down to 2000 meters. We are now looking for creative and talented service engineers who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Angolan market.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Definition of Strategies

• Develops and recommends recruitment strategies, with a view to achieving the objectives of the business plan and the local content;
• Manages and coordinates the formulation of contracts and administration procedures to ensure compliance with the terms, standards and specifications;
• Prepares the budgets for the department, disseminating the results with explanatory notes and recommendations for improvements in productivity;
• Ensures the development of procedures, controls and effective systems for compliance with the ASA’s policy and the regulatory requirements, including, among others, the criteria for recovery of RAS and PSA, SSPA, accounting, SOX, FCPA, and the import-export requirements;
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the company in their sectors of responsibilities, recommending or initiating the changes needed for the fulfilment of the business objectives.Operations
• Ensures that the processes and operating procedures of the Supply and Logistics Chain are in place, supporting the operations in an integrated, safe and adequate purposeful manner;
• Cooperate with other departments and forwarders in order to ensure the coordination and reception of consignments for project equipment and spare parts to meet operational needs;
• Working in coordination with all departments to ensure the administration of material resources;
• Ensures the means of transportation needed to the activities, namely, transportation of personnel and material, either by air or land.
• Carries out the distribution of supporting documentation, including manuals, procedures, and all the documentation required for the day-to-day activities;

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

• Literary Qualifications at the level of a degree or higher in the Management field.
• Professional experience exceeding 10 years, in the performance of similar function.
• Fluent at Portuguese and English;
• Computer knowledge from a user perspective.
• Very good knowledge of logistics.
