Atlas Professionals is looking for Instrument Technicians from Europe and Africa to work on FPSO vessels in Brazil and Angola.

Job description

An Instrument Technician is responsible for ensuring allotted instrumentation work is carried out safely and efficiently and that his supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially where safety is an issue.
The Instrument Technician is authorised to maintain Instrument assets and systems safely.

Job requirements

• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent
  3 yrs experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
• COMP ex E’X’ course preferred.
• Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
