Atlas Professionals is looking for Engine Room Supervisors from Europe and Africa to work on FPSO vessels in Brazil and Angola.
Job description
The Engine Room Supervisor will exhibit good leadership, supervisory and safety behaviours and will specifically ensure that all aspects of Engine Room operation and maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and control of responsibilities.
The Engine Room Supervisor is specifically responsible for the operation and maintenance of Engine Room equipment and systems and also the competence of those under his immediate supervision.
Job requirements
STCW III/2 Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate (Steam and Motor endorsement preferred), (DCE for Petroleum/Gas as appropriate)
Experience as Chief Engineer on VLCC preferred and at least 2 yrs as 1st Engineer.
Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and utility systems desirable.
Computer literate in Management System „Office‟ software packages and experienced on maintenance management systems. Experience in Permit to Work Systems.
Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
