The SERVICE consists in the following tasks:
- Follow up of periodic maintenance of lifting equipment and control of compliance with rules;
- Evaluation of the competencies of COMPANY’s lifting personnel (crane operators, banksman, riggers);
- Common training to site people (Sunday safety meeting);
- Update of applicable registers (records, apparatus, etc…);
- Review of non critical lifting plans and level 2 critical lifting plans;
- Creation/writing of complex/specific lifting plans;
- Supervision of specific and generic lifting operations;
- Improvement of work methods by, for instance, collecting lifting plans for repetitive operations;
- Communication with the COMPANY « Competent Person for Lifting Operations » (CPLO) who will provide technical assistance as required;
- Work permit validation in terms of lifting activities;
- He is the competent person representative for all lifting topics on the FPSO;
- Participate in planned site audit (HSE) related to lifting.
Mandatory Training
- BOSIET HUET;
- Basic Fire Fighting;
- Basic First Aid;
- Risk awareness and prevention.
