Heading Moz is searching for a Nothern Mozambique lead for our client, a company active in logistic services, we’re looking for a successful and effective manager of productivity, labour, quality control and safety measures.
Your key roles will include but not limited to:
Overseeing the daily operations for the company in Mozambique. This includes overseeing remote sites and running the head office in Pemba;
Introducing clear processes and systems;
Completing tender submissions and manage the needed paperwork to get the company on the radar with new clients;
Communicating effectively and clearly with headquarters;
Understanding the needs and problems of the company’s clients and coming up with solutions using potential and current resources;
Identifying strategic areas and new projects in which the company could or should invest;
Managing a team that is fragmented as well as clients and keep the operations going strong;
Deal with customer complaints professionally and rapidly together with the Business Development deparment;
Making sure that all inputs to operations from within the company are of the highest quality.
Qualifications:
A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Logistics service support / transport;
A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in similar positions.
