Purpose Of The Position

As an HSE Assistant Intern, you will support the HSE department in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing health, safety, and environmental initiatives across company operations. You will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of the HSE Lead/Manager, assisting in safety data processing, awareness campaigns, and documentation compliance, ensuring all learning milestones are met in accordance with the corporate structure

How can you support us?

• Assist in compiling, organizing, and maintaining official HSE documentation, statistics, records, and training metrics.
• Support the preparation and presentation of materials and topics for daily/weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Assist in routine safety walks and site inspections alongside the HSE Officers, recording findings and helping issue compliance reports.
• Assist in monitoring the schedule and registry for firefighting, safety, and emergency response equipment reviews.
• Help design, post, and communicate internal campaigns, safety flashes, and environmental guidelines across facilities.
• Assist in gathering initial data or paperwork to back up incident investigations and root cause analysis.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Degree/Licenciatura or Technical Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, HSE Management, or a related technical field
• Background: No previous work experience required (Fresh Graduate / Intern Profile). Candidates with up to 1 year of academic/practical internships within the engineering, manufacturing, or oil & gas sector are welcome
• Languages: Native/Fluent Portuguese and Professional English (mandatory for corporate tools, standard procedures, and reports).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Angolan HSE regulations, ISO 14001/45001 principles, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• What else should you know? Some travelling will be expected within [EMEA, Africa, Worldwide, etc]
