The Airswift is seeking a Key Account Manager.

Job Summary

We are looking for an expert Key Account Manager with sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

The role will have a strong focus on further developing new business and growing of Key Accounts within SONANGOL JVs and IOCs by optimally positioning our products and services offerings. There will also be a strategic focus in maintaining account relationships with partners in existing customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify new and effectively engage with existing customers and opportunities by promoting outstanding product features and deploying the best sales practices.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business, their needs and language while actively applying suitable products and solutions to address these goals.
• Effectively build account relationships to become the trusted advisor within selected accounts and become their trusted advisor for all portfolios.
• Increase the market share by a targeted competitor displacement across the portfolio and strategically position our portfolio to be considered on larger projects.
• Liaise with internal and external sales teams in product and application knowledge sharing, planning and execution activities to continuously improve the customer service levels.
• Develop strategic account plans for assigned accounts to dive customer loyalty and engagement.
• Practice a ‘Think Customer’ attitude and culture in all aspects of the role.
• Provide regular forecasts and lead account expectations updating the ongoing business planning tools including CRM, POR, Quarterly, Mid-Year and Yearly Budget Reviews.
• Work closely with the business unit sales and marketing teams to better understand how to position our portfolio effectively in the marketplace.
• Develop a true business partnership with IOCs, NOC, independent oil companies, government regulatory bodies such as ANPG, IRDP, MIREMPET, etc.
• Any other strategic duties deem necessary by the leadership team.

For This Role, You Will Need

• An Engineering/Science degree or equivalent. An MBA is an advantage.
• Extensive experience within Oil & Gas industry in Angola.
• Proven track record of direct selling in a B2B environment.
• Experience in developing long term relationships with external customers.
• Customer engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships.
• A consultative approach to selling.
• Amazing interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Process automation industry experience.
• Ability to develop successful cross functional relationships internally, within a matrix organization.
• Experience supporting business growth in Angola or similar emerging markets.
• Background in working with IOCs and NOCs.
