Rig Manager

Overview

PRI is hiring a Rig Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising all activities related to the operations of onshore and offshore drilling operations;
• Monitor and follow up on the performance of the drilling unit, including financial performance, HSE goals and programs;
• Establish a good working relationship with the Operators representatives both onshore and offshore;
• Effectively pre-plan and organize tasks on the rig including delegation of tasks to the rig crew to ensure work is performed and efficiently;
• Ensure that proper lines of communication are established and maintained both internally and externally.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related fields;
• At least ten (10) years of experience as Drilling Manager in Oil and Gas sector;
• Good knowledge of the international oil market;
• Familiar with all relevant Angolan Laws and regulations for operating a deep water drilling rig.
